tarted in 1997 Meridian Sea has become a leading importer and distributor of high quality seafood products. Our range includes marinated seafood, anchovies, terrines, soups, sauces and salads. Whilst most products are supplied fresh chilled, we also have ambient and frozen product ranges.

Through our partnerships with leading EU producers, we supply branded or own label product direct from the factory to you the customer. This has many advantages, with the supply chain operating direct from the factory the customer benefits from optimum quality, shelf life and competitive pricing along with an improved green footprint, gained by eliminating the need for any storage along the way.

In addition to the service direct from the producers factory, we operate a small overnight service for core lines, these are available as individual items with a combined weight of as little as 10 Kgs and are often used for those must have tomorrow situations! This service runs alongside our fresh fish facility supplying fresh fish and seafood direct from Cornwall.

High levels of factory accreditation, some including IFS and BRC ensure you of the safety and traceability of all products. Numerous Great Tastes Awards from the Guild of Fine Food Retailers including six Gold Awards have been gained, you can be sure these products are the finest in their category. Wherever possible we use products that have come from sustainable sources and caught using catcher and environmentally friendly methods. We are currently adding to our range, hand produced organic fish, prawn, poultry and vegetable terrines and soufflés.

All market sectors are catered for with pack sizes suited for retail, foodservice, catering, fine food and cash and carry. Our customers range in size from national foodservice and cash and carry, through wholesale to the small specialist independent; no customer is too small or too big. We run regular monthly and seasonal promotions and also have a specialist Christmas range which is very popular each year.
